The film is adapted from the physical novel"Rich Club 3: A Variety of Rich Second-Generations" written by Tianyou. It narrates that Jingcheng's elite business circle gathers top businessmen and entrepreneurs, making it every graduate’s dream destination. Huangxuan, an outspoken girl who fights hard, finally secures her job at the club after passing Manager Zheng Yiqun's rigorous interview. She works tirelessly to overcome all his challenges in hopes of meeting both company bosses sooner. In fact, she is a magazine journalist who had previously exposed a dark side of these companies’ deals but led to her own publication shutting down due to this incident. Driven by injustice, evidence points towards the rich club as the source; thus, she resolves to uncover its hidden truth. Despite knowing he could be harmed by her investigations, Zheng Yiqun surprisingly guides her along the way. Eventually, she discovers the truth: she was misled for commercial purposes, and turning off her magazine was part of protecting her. Interestingly, one year ago, Zheng Yiqun had already met her and saw himself reflected in her tenacity. He put much effort into hoping that through her efforts, she would grow. Teaching someone indirectly proves more effective than direct instruction; Huangxuan comes to understand the unique love behind her cunning superior.。
